These terms apply to the Shoreline Scholars website and to tutoring services provided by Shoreline Scholars Tutoring Services. Submitting an inquiry through this website does not create a tutoring agreement or confirm an appointment.

Shoreline Scholars provides individualized academic instruction in mathematics, writing and communication, and history and social studies, in person across the North Shore of Massachusetts and virtually elsewhere. Session format, length, scheduling, and location are agreed with each family before the first session.

We do not guarantee grades, test scores, admissions outcomes, or any specific academic result. Tutoring is an educational service; progress depends on the student’s engagement, attendance, and circumstances beyond our control.

Tutor qualifications are academic credentials held internally and are presented accurately. Shoreline Scholars does not describe its tutors as certified or licensed teachers unless a specific individual holds that certification, in which case it will be stated explicitly.

Specific cancellation, rescheduling, and payment terms are provided in writing to each family before tutoring begins. Sessions canceled with insufficient notice may be charged. Payment arrangements are agreed directly and are not processed through this website.

Tutoring for minors follows appropriate child-safety practices. Families are encouraged to be aware of session arrangements, and virtual sessions should take place in a shared or visible space in the home.
